Martin Schoeller, 64, is co-founder and managing partner of the Schoeller Group in Pullach (around 4,000 employees, 1 billion euros in group sales) and until recently was regional chairman of the association Die Familienunternehmer (the family entrepreneurs) in Bavaria. He has been involved with Africa for many years, among other things as the initiator of the Desert Food Foundation and as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Togo. In this function, he is in close contact with political decision-makers on site and in Germany in order to develop aid concepts. (schoeller.org and desertfood.org).
